Find Your Attachment Style
There are many different quizzes and assessments geared towards helping you find your attachment style. As with all assessments, the results are to be used as a guide to better understand yourself and how you show up in the world. Specifically, knowing your attachment style can be a super helpful tool when understanding how you show up in your relationship.
I really like the Personal Development School’s attachment style quiz, and if you’d like to know your type, you can take a free assessment at the following link: https://attachment.personaldevelopmentschool.com/
In my soon-to-relaunch Relationship Communication Workshop, there is an entire section that will be devoted to understanding even more about these attachment styles and how to manage them in relationships. After the first round of the workshop was completed, I received a number of questions about the attachment styles and requests for more information, so I decided to incorporate them into the workshop.

You have likely experienced something that could be classified as trauma
You feel uncomfortable getting close to others, but you do want and long for emotionally close relationships.
You find it very difficult to completely trust other people and/or to depend on them for anything.
You find yourself worrying that you will be hurt if you become too close to other people.
You may feel very uncomfortable with emotional closeness of any kind with anyone.
You may view yourself as unworthy of having close attachments.
You likely do not seek intimacy from others.
You will find yourself working to suppress and deny your feelings.

Relationship Communication Workshop Updates
I have created an online Relationship Communication Workshop to help you dig into the communication struggles in your relationship and start getting things back on track. During the past month, I have had a number of participants submit reviews and suggestions of different lessons that would be a great addition to the workshop. I want this to be as helpful as possible, so I have decided to listen to the feedback and expand the course to include even more relationship guidance.
I realize that not everyone wants to go through long-term therapy or the process of getting to a therapy appointment may not fit into your busy schedule. That's why I created this course. I wanted to provide you with a way to get access to the tools my clients get from me in my practice, but you can access the material from the comfort of your own home or wherever you are.
