What's Your Word? #MyIntent
What’s Your Word?
For the past few years, I have decided to pick a yearly theme or word/phrase as a way to guide my goal setting and vision for the next year. I start that brainstorming process in October during my reset phase, so that I have a lot of time to give it a lot of thought. I talked about the 3 R’s: Reflect, Recharge, and Reset in a blog a few weeks ago if you’d like to check it out here to learn more about what I mean by the reset phase.
A New Offering
Have you see the What’s Your Word? #MyIntent jewelry and keychains? I remember seeing them show up on social media a few years ago, and I loved that there was a way to carry your word/theme with you everywhere you go. In fact, I loved it so much I decided I wanted to be able to make my own and offer them to others looking to create a word/phrase to guide them. I am offering a kickoff discount for anyone wanting to get their new What’s Your Word? MyIntent bracelet, necklace or keychain from me.
Send me a message to my email lindsay@lindsaywalden.com and include the code: WORD2020LW to save 20% off your order. If you’d prefer to order directly from the website, you can find my shop link here and save $10 off your order!
Coaching and Consulting
I’m in the process of creating a number of new coaching and consulting groups, and I will also be offering 1:1 coaching services for people looking to live their best life and to feel less stuck by their current circumstances. I you are interested in having an initial consultation with me, I’d love to meet with you and see if we are a good fit. If we decided to work together, you will have the option to go through the steps of selecting your word/theme as a part of our coaching, and I’d love to help you with this process.
Steps to Pick Your Word
Whether you are selecting a world/theme for your year or you want to have a reminder of something to reset and ground you no matter where you are, here are some questions to ask yourself as you start to think about what word would apply best to your life:
What is a goal you are trying to reach in your life?
What is something you are wanting to have more of in your life?
What is a word you use or would like to use to define yourself?
What would you like to have as a regular reminder to reset or ground yourself?
What is something you’ve overcome in your life and want to commemorate?
Send me a message to my email lindsay@lindsaywalden.com and include the code: WORD2020LW to save 20% off your order. We will then schedule a consultation to help you select your word, and I’ll get it sent to you asap. If you’d prefer to order directly from the website, you can find my shop link here and save $10 off your order!
2018 Started It for Me
I had set resolutions in my life for years, but I had never thought of using a word or theme to guide my year and help me maintain my focus. My theme/word for 2018 was self-care and I spent the entire year finding ways to create, attempt, practice and establish my self-care routines. It was such a transformational year, and I loved that I had a guiding concept to keep me on track through the year. Although I don’t see anything wrong with resolutions, I felt like having a word to guide my life was less restrictive and allowed room for growth and transition along the way.
2019 Solidified the Process
After having such a great experience with picking a theme for 2018 to guide my life, I decided to continue that process in 2019. My theme/word for 2019 is unalome. Basically it is the concept that the journey to your destination is not straight. In fact, it’s quite curvy and bumpy, but it’s all headed towards forward progress and reaching goals. I actually received the word unalome on a What’s Your Word? #MyIntent bracelet in my December CoachCrate last year. I love my bracelet so much, and it’s with me everyday.
I highly recommend CoachCrate and I have a section specifically about it and how you can join in the next section.
CoachCrate
Not only did I receive my first What’s Your Word? MyIntent bracelet from my CoachCrate last December, the monthly subscription service has helped me stay regular with my self-care in so many ways. I would love to have you join me on the CoachCrate adventure. November’s theme is Vulnerability, and I am loving it! If you want to join me next month, you can save money on your first order using my link and the code FIRSTBOX at checkout! I stalk my mailbox waiting it to arrive each month!
28 Days of Gratitude Challenge
My FREE 28 Days of Gratitude Challenge launched this a few weeks ago, and there is still time to join! The month of November is traditionally when we are already reflecting on giving thanks, so I decided to create the 28 Days of Gratitude Challenge to help us celebrate Thanksgiving this year.
But it’s not just for Thanksgiving. I set up the challenge in a way that you can start at any time and each day for 28 days you will get an email sent to you with a daily gratitude prompt or activity that will take no more than 5-10 minutes to complete. The idea is to spend time each day reflecting on the things you are grateful for as a way to shift your mindset. If you’d like to sign up for the FREE 28 Days of Gratitude Challenge, you can do so through this link.
